Joan's Garden Challenge 11/1/12

This weeks challenge over at Joan's Garden is to create a Winter Card.  I just may do a couple so check back. Here in Minnesota we are having weather in the 40's and 50's. It's a nice cool. It will seem even nicer when December, January and February rolls around. I'm still hobbling around but getting better after feet surgery. The surgical "cuts" are healing but I have a little swelling. Come Spring I will be so glad I did this!
The card:

The main image is by Penny Black. The light Blue card is stamped with an Azidi Earl's snowflake stamp multiple times with Black dye ink. Winter Wishes is by Savvy and punched out with a word punch. I used a border punch for the holey background  and also a snowflake punch. White yarn is wrapped around the bottom of the Penny Black image. Hope you enjoyed the Winter card. Hi Paula,

Somehow I missed this card, a few weeks ago. WOW ! I just used this stamp in some cards, myself. It's amazing how different things can look, using the same stamp ! Yours is very beautiful!

take care
