Kanji Dress

Hello and Happy Saturday. Today I have another card for you from the Kanji collection at Crafter's Companion. Last Saturday I made a card using the same image. You can see how versatile these stamps can be.

To make this card I stamped all images on a speckled metallic vellum using dark brown dye ink. Let it dry completely before trimming the main image and cutting out the fans. Layer a white oval on a brown panel and then layer the vellum image with brads at each corner. Add a dragonfly brad and punched out white flower that has a sequin and brad. Layer the two cut out fans at opposite ends of a white card that has been punched with a decorative border punch at all sides. Layer the white card to a slightly larger copper card. Layer all to a light cream colored folded card. Check out other cards at the CC blog. See you all next Saturday.

Kanji Love

Hello and it's Saturday and my third post. Toady's card is a Valentines card from the Kanji stamps at Crafter's Companion. Love is universal so why not say it Kanji style?

The red card was put through a Distressed Line folder and then notched at two opposite corners. The pink heart, white scalloped circle and White photo corners are punches-I love punches. The White layer on top of the red card is a die cut and I added two stick on hearts at the top and bottom.  I put a sheer black and white ribbon around the red card and taped the ends to the back. The red heart with the silver eyelet is a found item. This card has a few steps but can be made by any level of crafter. Stop by next Saturday....and also stop by and see the other challenges from our spectacular design team.

Butterfly in Winter

Hello. It's Saturday January 14th and we finally have snow. The card I made below was being constructed in 52 degree temperature. A record  breaker for Minnesota. It almost seemed possible to see a butterfly in January! These stamps are from the Art-Cure collection. They are verydetailed and gorgeous and can be found on Crafter's Companion website along with their other fabulous products. Come back next Saturday where I'll be showing  a project with the new Kanji stamps.
