Joan's Challenge Sept 12th, 2013 #1

Joan's Garden is having a Fall themed challenge this week and you can enter three cards, which I am going to do! What fun. Here is #1:
                                                         

Nature is the Art of God and the Maple Print are both products from Impression Obsession. Joan can order IO products. I also used a bird die from IO.

The sides were punched with a stitch border and I added cord to the bottom of the card.

Joan's Challenge Sept. 12th, 2013 #2

This is the 2nd card I'm entering at Joan's Gaden Fall themed challenge.                                                                   

Autumn Blessings is by Just Rite Antique Tags One and Joan carries this set.

The Pumpkins are by Penny Black. And, the decorative Lines are by Hero Arts.

The two dies I used are Leaves by Impression Obsession and Twiggy Tree by Memory Box. Joan carries both.

I used two different punches for the corners and added twine and brads.

Joan's Garden Sept 12th, 2013 #3

                                               This is the 3rd card I am entering at Joan's Garden Fall themed challenge:     

Hearty Pumpkin and Solid Dot Heart are both by Impression Obsession which Joan can order.

The folder is by Cuttlebug and called Pumpkin Harvest.

The Leaves are a DIE030-S by Impression Obsession which Joan carries.

I also used a punches to make the one corner and the two smaller hearts. A small hole punch was used to put the waxed cord through and curled. One white brad was used to hold the corner in place.

#20 Challenge Joan's Garden

This week the challenge at Joan's is a bit different. You need to post two cards-a kinda before and after. It reminds me of those weight loss pics! The after of the person ALWAYS looks better...The rules this week is to create a card using lots of layers, use the colors blue and white and then take a picture. After that you will embelish. I added five more things to (I hope) improve the card. This challenge is definetely for me as I usually cannot stop myself from adding things-brads, corner punches, string, flowers....

The stamps are all from Impression Obsession. The two in the center are C-A-C stamps and are called Clouds and Birds on Tree. The stamp on the bottom left is called Love Birds Solid. Joan can get IO products.

Two of the dies I used are from Memory Box. They are called Fringe Circle and Crisp Bows. Joan carries Memory Box.

The other dies are from IO and are called Round Shaker Frame, Bird set and butterflies. Again, Joan can get IO products.

The folder in white is called Karen Frame and is by Krafts Too. Joan carries this folder.

The corners are a punch and I added brads to them and the Solid Love Birds.

#19 Challenge Joan's Garden

This week at Joan's the challenge is to make a card with the colors yellow and white, The card should have two butterflies, some type of flourish and polka dots.

                                                                   

The printed paper has some white dots and I also used a dot folder in the center.

The two butterflies are both Memory Box dies and Joan carries them.

The Flourish die and the Sunflower (stamped in Yellow) are both produts from Impression Obsession and Joan can get these products.

The other folder is from Darice and called Floral.

The corners are a punch with white brads inserted.

The sentiment is from Savvy and stamped on a word punch and then mounted to another larger word punch.

#18 Challenge Joan's Garden

This week at Joan's Garden the challenge is to make a car using the colors white, red and black. You are supposed to use a die border, Make a vellum flower and use a sentiment.
Here's my card:
                         
                                                               

The image is called Chrysanthemum Frame and is from Memory Box.
The die is called Piestra Tile and is also from Memory Box. Joan carries Memory Box.
The flowers were punched out using Red Vellum and I used tiny Black brads to keep them together.
It's your Day is from A Muse stamps and punched out with a word punch and adhered to a larger punched out word punch.
The photo corners and leaves were also punched out and I used another corner punch to notch the white card which I put through a dot folder.

#17 Challenge Joan's Garden

This week the challenge at Joan's is to create a card with the colors, Peach, Green and Cream. You should use a fan, lace and pearls. Here's my card:

                                                                      

The two Butterflies are dies from Memory Box and Joan caries them.
The Fan is an old stamp from Denami which was stamped over C-A-C Petals from Impression Obsession. Joan can order IO'S products.
Just because is from Savvy Stamps.
The corners are punched out and Green brads were inserted.
The Daisies are from a Lace border. I cut them apart and then added tiny Peach buttons.
Pearls were added to the butterfly.

IO Thankful Challenge

The challenge this week is to make a "Thankful card". I'm thankful it is finally spring in Minnesota! I'm thankful for the birds, trees budding and flowers. I'm thankful for nature and where I live. And, here's my card:

#16 Challenge Joan's Garden

This weeks challenge is to create a card using items from the letters TULIPS! How fun... and here's my card:

                                                                     

T is for the tulips in the stamp from Outlines.

 U is for the U I used in the sentiment.

L is for the lace I added to the bottom of the card.

I is for the item I used from Joan's which is the Piastra Tile. A die from Memory Box.

P is for the Pearl I added.

S is for the sentiment or the sanding I did on the card.

This week the challenge at Joan's is to make a card using Pastel colors, use some lace (real or a die) have flowers on the card and use a bow. You must use atleast one product that Joan carries.

                                                

The two stamps I used are both from Impression Obsession and Joan can get them.
The Bow and Lace border are dies from IO. The bow is from Fancy Ornament. Joan can get  these dies.
The folder is called Daisy and Swirl from Craft Too and Joan carries the folder.

#14 Challenge Joan's Garden

This week the challenge at Joan's is to make a card using three different flowers, use two butterflies and use the color light blue or aqua and white for the background, use a sentiment and also use some product that Joan carries. Here's my card:

                                                                       

The flowers, butterflies, corners, bow and ovals are all punches. I used two different types of white brads. The "happy day" is from A Muse Artstamps. The folder is called "Flower Bouquet and Tag" and Joan carries this folder which is from Krafts-Too.
I sanded the raised portion of the folder and scruffed up the edges with a little distresser tool.
